The map of the libertine zones of Cap d'Agde: where to go and why

Libertine Cap d'Agde: a geography of freedom

The Cap d'Agde Naturist Village is not uniform in its relationship to sexual freedom. Each zone has its codes, its atmospheres and its unspoken rules. Understanding this geography is essential to enjoy each space in the right way.

The central beach: a family naturist space

The heart of the beach, during the day, is a classic naturist space. Families, couples, individuals — all coexist in a relaxed spirit. Nudity is natural and non-sexualised. It is the most accessible and friendly space in the village.

The dunes (far end of the beach): tolerance zone

Towards the far end of the beach, the dunes form the informal zone of greatest tolerance. The atmosphere changes gradually. This is where exhibitionists and more intimate encounters concentrate in the evening. Important legal reminder: even here, explicit sexual acts remain theoretically illegal in France.

The swingers clubs: legal and secure zones

The swingers clubs are the most legally secure spaces for libertine practices. As private establishments, they create a legal framework for explicit sexual behaviour between consenting adults. This is where most of the organised libertine life takes place.

The harbour and the terraces: a space of seduction

The harbour and its terraces are the space of seduction and first encounters. The dress there is dressy (lightly), glances meet, conversations begin. It is the place of transition between the ordinary world and the libertine world.

The residences: semi-public intimacy

In some residences, the terraces and common areas may see bolder behaviour — particularly at night. Each residence has its own rules of conduct, to be respected.
